MonkeyMote gives you a full-fledged wireless music remote control for your Android phone.

It fully supports the popular foobar2000, MediaMonkey 4, Winamp, AIMP 2 & 3 and JRiver Media Center media players.

The app connects to the media player running on your Windows PC via your WiFi network and allows you to view information about currently playing tracks and control every important playback feature.

Please note that the automatic server discovery feature requires at least Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and is not supported by all devices. It is disabled by default on devices that are not running at least Android 4.4 due to an operating system bug that can trigger reboots on some devices.

I'm being extremely generous in my 4 star rating. This delivers a bare bones way to play music on my computer using my phone. Minimal ad intrusion, easy setup, works. Downside: I was looking at Playlist options, and accidentally selected "clear Playlist". The Playlist, which had 5,000 entries, was cleared AND DELETED by a slight mistake with my finger. I'm lucky that I use a backup service. But replacing the Playlist was still a huge pain. "Do No Harm": programming rule #1.

Very good app I using cos I play darambuka and I need to play my Arabic mix when I am on stage not on my console .I made Playlist on foobar so I can control my track volume from 10 or 15 m from my console Easy and fast to work I HAVE KATAOKE SING AT PARTY so I put my phone on stand and all can play favorite song from my phone to laptop Playlist where I have all Playlist and karaoke song.Is very good a.you must cone the via wi fi only .simple and fast WELL DONE FOR DEVELOPER

It may be misssing some functionality, but it is reliable and it just works. Even though free version works just fine (ads are there, but they do not interfere with app functionality), I'm buying it to support development of this app. Highly recommend, keep up the good work!
