Six network tools in one app, for the questions people actually ask about their WiFi.
WHO IS ON MY WIFI
See every device answering on your network, with a name where one can be found — your app asks the router what each device is called, and listens for the names devices announce themselves. Each one shows its IP address, a guess at what kind of device it is, and which ports it has left open. Your own phone and your router are marked so you can ignore them.
WIFI ANALYZER
A channel map showing where the networks Android reports sit and how strong they are, across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz. Above the chart, a plain sentence tells you whether moving channel is worth it and which channel is clearer. The chart is there when you want it; the sentence is there so you do not have to read it.
It also has a walk test: carry your phone to the kitchen, the far bedroom, the balcony, name each spot and save the reading. A few minutes of that shows you exactly where your router stops reaching — the question a channel map cannot answer.
SPEED TEST
Download, upload, latency and jitter, with a live gauge while it runs. It measures over eight parallel connections, because a single connection cannot fill a fast line on its own. The result tells you which datacenter answered and how many connections produced the figure, so you can compare it against other tools fairly.
PING
Whether a host answers and how quickly, with packet loss, average round trip and every individual reply, appearing one by one as they come back.
TRACEROUTE
Every hop between your phone and a host, with the time each one took. When a connection is slow, this is what shows you whether the delay starts inside your home, at your provider, or somewhere further out that nobody near you can fix.
DNS LOOKUP
A, AAAA, MX and TXT records for any domain, with their TTLs.
WHAT LEAVES YOUR PHONE
Nothing is uploaded to us by five of the six tools. The WiFi scan and the device list run entirely on your phone. Ping, traceroute and DNS send only the requests you ask for, to the host or resolver you typed, and the answers come straight back to you. There is no account to create and no sign-in.
The speed test is the exception, because measuring a connection means using it. It runs against a measurement server and moves a few hundred megabytes. On mobile data the app asks before spending it. On WiFi it does not ask.
ABOUT THE LOCATION PERMISSION
Android will not return WiFi scan results to any app that does not hold location permission. That is an operating system rule, not a choice we made. This app never reads your location, never stores it, and never sends it anywhere. Deny it and the WiFi analyzer stops working; nothing else changes.
