About this app

This app is the command center for your Velop system and Linksys Smart WiFi routers. Use the Linksys app anywhere you have an internet connection to check connected devices, set up guest access, or keep your kids off the internet when they should be doing homework. The app offers two subscription services: Linksys Aware for whole-home motion detection and Linksys Shield, which provides network security and keeps kids safe on the web.

Linksys Aware is a premium subscription for Velop tri-band users. Linksys Aware provides whole-home motion detection for mesh WiFi systems. Set a sensitivity level matching your home and lifestyle, and get notifications when motion meets or exceeds that level. Expand your motion detection with compatible smart home devices.

Your trial converts to a paid subscription unless you turn off auto-renew. Access to the trial will be available as specified even if the trial is canceled before it expires.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term and you will be charged through your Google Play Account. You may turn off subscription auto-renewal at any time through the Google Play Store. We cannot offer a refund for unsubscribing early.

Our Velop product line features Bluetooth setup. In Android 6 and higher, apps must request location permissions to use Bluetooth. We don't collect or use any location information in our app.

Great app that lets me check the status, who's on, set priority devices, test the internet speed and much more. 6/13 Update. Not sure what happened to the app as I have not used it in a while. But it will not allow me access to my router anymore. Very frustrating. I have submitted several email to complain of the past week or so. Hopefully they fix the app.

This app is a waist of time when trying to add additional nodes to the one that's already setup. 3 Nodes were connected previously together and were reset, but now cannot connect them together. It takes forever to scan and it not connecting at all, trying to connect nodes for an hour with no success. App had Give us Call option for the support and it doesn't work. Nodes are visible in WIFI networks and Bluetooth network, they can be parred and connected to via Wi-Fi, but not thru app.

So far the setup of my new device was very easy. Some features of the app were hard to use, due to the placement of elements in the user interface. For instance, when I tried to put a device in the priority list, I couldn't save the change. The save element in the upper right corner was too close to the phone's upper bar. I went into the website and made the change there, so there is an alternative path. I wish there were more options to export logs for analysis.
