Octet Location is a free authenticator for signing in to services your organization uses. When a website or app asks you to confirm where you are, it sends you here.
How it works:
A sign-in page shows a QR code. Scan it with Octet Location.
Your phone checks the requirement on the device and returns a signed yes or no.
Confirm with Face ID, then switch back to your browser to finish signing in.
No coordinates leave the device, and your phone answers one question: are you inside the required region. Only that signed yes or no answer is sent. Your actual position is not.
