Ratings and reviews

The app does what it's supposed to for the most part. It's just slow as sin. I can stream 4k video from YouTube off my data just fine. This takes me about 5 minutes to load 2 seconds of 1080p video. It takes forever to download the videos as well and sometimes will just stop in the middle of downloading. This should be convenient but it's less of a hassle to just upload footage to Google drive through the headset's browser than using the official app. It's a shame.

Quest 1 cannot be used after factory reset. The setup process will not allow you to continue past the safety video, rendering the device useless without reverting to an older APK of the Android app. Response edit: I don't have an alternate iOS device. Upon further research you have disabled the ability to use a previous APK to allow setup of the device. You say you're glad I'm still using the older hardware, but it feels like you're actively preventing it. And support appears non-existent.

It is currently impossible to set up an account for your child. If you choose to prove that you're an adult by putting in a credit card it won't accept the date. Basic 2 digits for month 2 digits for year, would not accept it. Tried 3 different credit cards, 3 times for each credit card. it just would not accept the date. Switched to photographing my ID, that doesn't work, when you click the plus buttons to take a photo of yourself ID nothing happens. Restarted, uninstall, reinstall. Nothing.
