The app is another public outreach effort developed by the Avery County NC Sheriff’s Office to improve communication with county residents and visitors. This app is not intended to be used to report emergency situations. Please call 911 in an emergency.

They have been there for us when we needed them. Pretty good gang of folks out there sticking their necks out for our County. People should be grateful there is still some that are willing to do that for our safety. Not everyone will hold this particular job... I appreciate our sheriffs department.
