Transcribable is a versatile text editor with speech-to-text integration designed to make note taking simpler with using your Android device and optional Wear OS device using the companion application.
With the Android application, you can perform speech-to-text operations with ease, and also enjoy manual editing capabilities.
The application supports library management:
- allowing you to create one or more files
- sharing them with other applications as text or as a file
- support for custom storage locations using the Storage Access Framework (cloud provider compatible)
The Wear OS companion lets you capture notes from your wrist and store under the active file in the device application.
Transcribable also features the ability to specify the speech-to-text recognition language separately from your device language, you can also transcribe speech in multiple languages.
Speech to text/voice recognition uses the Speech Recogniser framework under Android if you have more than 1 provider/package on your devices you can set the which Transcribable should use under settings.
