I record music, like jam sessions on my phone, usually finger picking guitar riffs, and when I record using the app on Pixel 10 and listen to it back, there are brief moments where the audio skips or pops or plays back at like 1.5 the speed. It might not seem like a big deal but it messes up the flow of the music. I owned a Pixel 7 and used it to record music for years with no issue like this. To make sure I wasn't crazy I recorded a song using both phones & it's like I described.

so far, I tried using it while in my car. When I went to replay what I recorded, nothing but dead air. apparently road noise needs to be eliminated so it eliminated my voice too. so, you know, not great. I'm hopeful turning off nose cancelling for recordings will fix, bit it's unfortunate I have to experience loss before getting to that realization.

When I first used the app months ago it worked perfectly. used it today and it was recording the entire time but sound cut off after 5-10 seconds. I tried to see what mic hardware the app was using, but the app had no settings to look at. Need some way to find out if the mic on the phone or hearing aids or ??? whatever is being used. Also may be the mic shuts off when the phone is rotated face down.
