About this app

Stories to share at bedtime.

Funlearn brings together imaginative stories, helpful word meanings and a little word play. Read together, explore independently, or listen using an offline English voice on your Android device.

Explore a library of 24 included stories and their illustrations. Read 3 stories and listen to 1 story free each day, with offline access on your device. Discover animal adventures, magical worlds, friendship, courage and more.

- Browse the stories or search, even when a title is a little misspelled.
- Try “Surprise me” for a new adventure from your library.
- Tap story words for offline meanings and collect favorites in My Words.
- Listen at your own pace with sentence highlighting, voice choices, pause and resume, and a sleep timer. Playback stops when the story ends.
- Star favorite stories and pick up where you left off.
- Choose light or dark appearance, orange or yellow accents, two reading fonts, and comfortable text size and spacing.
- Set an optional daily story reminder at a time that works for you.
- Try a short, optional word activity or imagine what happens after a story. Progress stays yours, even after time away.

Try an illustrated story preview, adjust its appearance and sample the audio during onboarding. The preview does not use your free daily stories.

Reading does not require a Funlearn account. Word help, word play, reminders and accessibility settings are free. Your daily reading and audio allowance applies to this device and renews at midnight; revisit the same choices throughout the day. There are no ads, competitive leaderboards or streak penalties.

Funlearn Pro unlocks unlimited reading and listening, up to 6 saved listening presets and a sepia reading appearance. Choose monthly, annual or lifetime access; every plan unlocks the same features. Monthly and annual plans renew until cancelled; lifetime is a single payment. Restore purchases or manage your subscription from Settings. Localized prices and billing terms are shown before Google Play confirmation.

Narration uses compatible offline English voices installed on your device. You may need an internet connection to install a voice through Android settings. Voice quality and availability depend on your device. Reminders require notification permission and their delivery time may vary. Internet is also needed for new catalogue updates, purchases and account deletion.
