About this app

OfflineAlert is a personal safety app that automatically notifies a trusted contact if you become inactive (or inactive) for a specified period.

It works simply: as long as your phone shows activity, nothing happens. If it remains inactive for longer than the allowed time, the system can send an automatic alert from your email account.
OfflineAlert is designed for situations where someone wants to be notified if they stop responding, if their phone battery dies, if they lose connectivity, or if any other circumstance prevents them from taking action manually.

How it works:
- Sign in with your Google account.

- Configure the recipient's email address.

- Write a personalized message.

- Define the maximum inactivity time.

- The app keeps your status updated while you remain active.

- If the configured limit is exceeded, an automatic alert is triggered.

The alert can include:
- A personalized message
- The last recorded activity time
- The last known location, if the user has enabled this option

Use examples:

- Personal safety: For people who live alone and want a family member or trusted contact to receive an alert.
- Mountaineering, hiking, or solo travel: If the phone stops sending activity for a period of time, the chosen contact can be automatically notified.

- Dead man's switch or digital legacy: Can be used as a backup system to send important information only if the user is inactive for an extended period.
- Dangerous situation: Sending the alert could save a life.
