Okcar supports WiFi and app can be directly connected to DVR devices. The software realizes the following functions:

1. can't download videos because the download button is behind the navigation bar on Android 2. can't watch any videos in the app because it says they are all 0 seconds. 3. the only way to view a video is to remove the SD card and watch it on a computer. This defeats the purpose of having a dash cam if I can't even view videos on site. The dash cam serves no purpose and these issues started in August 2025 with the last update. It's been 8 months and the issues still aren't fixed.

The version I downloaded today seems to be working OK with all features available. When first started the app invites you to log in or register for an account. It is possible to skip the login using the link at the bottom edge of the screen, and it is not clear what advantage creating an account would offer you and I would advise skipping to avoid giving personal information to yet another unknown company without good reason. If after a while features become time limited I will reconsider.

No connection issues from dash cam to phone. Although I do have to enable it manually. Every time. It's a tad annoying once connected I can't listen to music via the Alex app. Even though I have mobile data switched on. Hence the reason for 4 stars. Apart from that, the app works fine with no other issues. If you need faster downloads to your device I suggest to invest in a top quality fast sd card.
