Edit: 2022. You can only post a single ad on a free plan, not even 3 or 5. Absolutely ridiculous. Though developers are earning money from ads all over the place, they still choose to do this and force you to buy a plan. Know that regular users are not sellers! Ads all over the place. Some sellers can be so unserious The app now makes It difficult to rate sellers as it should. Even if you do so, does it change much?

I’ve been using Jiji for a while and overall, it’s a very helpful platform for buying and selling items. The interface is simple, posting ads is quick, and I like that you can chat directly with sellers. It makes finding affordable products much easier compared to other platforms. However, there are some issues that I’ve noticed: Sometimes ads stay active even after the item has already been sold. The app can lag or freeze when loading too many pictures. I have been using jiji and I am grateful very much. As someone who really struggles to bargain I don't get overpriced as I did before when I just used to go to market blindly. Testimony, I went looking to buy a computer mouse, on jiji prices ranges between 450 and 500. I went to the store but unfortunately the guy was closed at the time, I checked on a different store and they quoted double the price and they would only give me a discount of sh.100 for the same item . So yeah I love this app.
