Have played this game for quite a while, hero level 87. I'm no stranger to gatcha games, but I can't recommend this one. Getting to a certain point to find that I'm required to have an older unit just to beat, even though my main team is triple the power of others that have cleared the same point is unacceptable. Not to mention that the user interface is severely lacking, even players agree that you need to go to discord to get any info. I would not recommend this game for anyone.

This game *is* playable as a free player, but you'll only get to play once per week. The other 6 days you will log in, and have nothing to do because you will lose every battle available in the game until you slowly get enough resources to level up a charcter to play another couple levels before being stuck again. It is **heavily** set up for spenders. ALL the good characters are ONLY available to spenders. A free player will never get them.

First, the good. I enjoy the gameplay and the strategies involved. It doesn't take too long to complete dailies. The character designs are good. The seasonal content is fun. The bad. The game gets more expensive with each season. They add more ways to monetize the game with each major update. Heroes that were previously great will be left in the dust for the most part. The game was ftp friendly but I cannot say that is still the case. In order to compete in any sense, you need to spend hundreds.

What’s new

Season 15 introduces a brand-new season mode, Sacred Gambit. Players must venture alone for exploration. Various random events will trigger on the board as you collect elemental crystals, crack spells, and unlock treasure rewards.
