Point your camera at a wild mushroom and get a straight answer: what it probably is, how sure we are, and which dangerous species it could be confused with.

WE TELL YOU WHEN WE ARE NOT SURE
Most identifiers return one confident name for any photo, including photos with no mushroom in them. This one gives a confidence figure, lists more than one candidate when the photo allows more than one answer, and says when the picture is too blurry or too close to call. If a second photo would settle it, it tells you what that photo needs to show.

LOOKALIKES COME FIRST
Every result lists the species yours could be mistaken for, the deadly ones at the top, with a plain note on how to tell them apart. Spore print colour, gill attachment, the base of the stem: the checks that actually decide it.

A FIELD GUIDE THAT WORKS WITHOUT SIGNAL
The guide lives on your phone, so it opens in a wood with no bars. It is sorted worst first, so the species that can hurt you are the ones you see.
