The George County School District is located in Lucedale, Mississippi. We have (8) eight schools - one high school, one middle school, and (6) six elementary schools. As of September 2022, our school district proudly earned an “A” ranking for the first time in history. Our district consists of approximately 750 staff members, approximately 4200 students, (5) five school board members, and a dedicated and supportive community - all committed to becoming the “absolute best school district in the entire state of Mississippi!”
