Solid 3.5 stars for technical features, 2 stars for user documentation /manual, and -2 stars for developement. I am a small service and product business selling through Square and using OneUp for accounting and inventory. Suddenly there is a known issue with OneUp syncing with Square and inventory /sales cannot sync for going on 6 Weeks now. SIX WEEKS! The representative I have been emailing keeps telling me they are JUST about to patch it. Switching accounting software will be such a headache!!

Handles quotes, invoices, etc. just fine, but the automated accounting is clunky and, lately, hasn't worked for me at all. It's been over 2 months since I raised a help ticket and I still can't get it to sync with either of my business' banking accounts. To date, I've received 11 emails, all in response to my inquiries; no proactive updates at all. In those 11 emails, there has been zero substantive updates or explanations, just "sorry", "I'll escalate" and "warm regards". This issue alone is a deal breaker for me. The CRM portion is little more than an address book. No notifications of when to contact leads next. (In fact, no notifications at all.) I can't speak to inventory management as I provide a service, not a physical product.

We needed an app combining (1) sales/pipeline management/CRM, (2) inventory management, (3) and basic accounting. This app checks all three boxes to give our small business one easy place to collaborate. If you don't have accounting experience, be sure to read Help docs. If you do, it's easy to use. Features that would get me to five stars are: a mileage log (important to US users for taxes), greater branding options on invoices/receipts/reports, and translating the Help documents to Spanish.
