I found the app through their YouTube tutorial videos. I love the idea and have been playing from YouTube. Figured I would try the app. Works better than the videos that is for sure. Here is my only problem. I get that there needs to be a revenue stream so I wouldn't mind paying (and I know about the 3 consecutive days thing), but it would be nice if you could pay for/pick certain songs. I try to avoid monthly payment stuff because its easy to sign up for alot of stuff like that and not realize how much it costs you each month for all of them in total.
I have used this app on my ipod for quite some time, but recently gave it to a friend so I reinstalled the app on my phone. I tried to log into my old account and the app crashed. After 3 attempts I gave up on logging on because it crashed every time. I just continued as a local songbook save to my device. While using the app, sound randomly.cuts out. I have to restart the app to get sound back. Good app though if it works as intended.
It's not worth it! You might as well train yourself to play the songs that you want to play by reading sheet music you can find on the internet! Also, nobody except people who are rich will buy a subscription because people got spend on more important stuff like there BILLS. If I was you I would play ads instead of doing a subscription. That's probably why the rating is so low for the app.
I've been enjoying it. Here some advice that would help is when the song starts give around 2 to 3 seconds for hands to get into position. It just starts right away and I end up behind because of it. It should allow us to practice sections of the song at one time. So learning blocks like just verse 1 or just the chorus. I feel I could progress faster if I could play the more technical sections a few times in a row to get it memorized and not have to do the whole song each time. I also feel that the sustain should be more noticeable. I find it hard to watch as the notes come down and see the little red dot at the same time. Could you make it a bar across the top or something. This is all I've come up with so far. I absolutely love how I can change the speed of the song and how the notes come down. I also love how I can choose between beginner and pro. This app does have me using my keyboard which is great. You guys have done a fantastic job. I've been thinking over the subscription aspect as well. I feel that the monthly fee is holding people away from truly loving this app. People want to learn to play a certain song. I really think if you set your ap up where people can purchase individual songs for a reasonable price say 1 or 2 dollars as well as offer an unlimited amount of songs membership you would get more people loving this app. Being able to purchase a single song would open the doors for more revenue. Then keep the year long membership for unlimited song use.
All im going yo say is to just nit down load this app it sucks. It only gives you 30 seconds of the song. I want an app that gives me what i am expecting it to give me that is the cause of downloading an app! Geez. 😠
You should let the first 3 free songs be our choice instead of having the most boring songs ever in a small list... I would rather watch tutorials on YouTube.
A quick fix that caused player app crashes for some users, sorry about that.... :)
