OpenChat — Offline Bluetooth Messenger
Stay connected, even without the internet.
OpenChat is an Android messaging app that lets you communicate with nearby users through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), without requiring an internet connection for messaging.
With Bluetooth mesh networking, encrypted messages can be forwarded through other connected OpenChat devices, enabling communication beyond a single direct Bluetooth connection when relay devices are available.

Maps & Location Sharing
View locations shared by nearby users on OpenStreetMap-based maps. An internet connection is required to download map tiles.
Local Message History
Your messages, contacts, and conversation history are stored on your device. OpenChat does not use a central messaging server to store conversations.
