Call Block – Block Unwanted Calls
Call Block helps you manage unwanted phone calls and incoming calls from supported apps while keeping trusted contacts on your allowlist.
Features
Screen and reject eligible regular phone calls.
Manage an allowlist of trusted callers.
Decline supported incoming app calls using notification actions.
Optional WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business call assistance.
View local call-blocking activity.
Premium subscriptions to remove ads.
AccessibilityService – Optional WhatsApp Call Assist
Call Block offers an optional feature that uses Android's AccessibilityService API to help reject incoming WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business calls when their notifications do not provide a working decline action.
When you enable this feature, Call Block may inspect the visible incoming-call screen, including the caller's displayed name or number, text labels, and Answer/Reject buttons.
After detecting an incoming-call notification, Call Block can tap Reject for a caller outside your allowlist.
Privacy and data use
AccessibilityService data is processed locally on your device. Rejection information may be saved in the app's local Activity history. Accessibility call-screen data is not uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.
Call Block does not use AccessibilityService to read WhatsApp chats, record call audio, or control unrelated apps.
Your choice and control
WhatsApp screen assist is optional. Call Block displays a separate disclosure and requests your explicit consent before directing you to Android Accessibility settings.
You can decline this permission and continue using regular phone call blocking. You may disable the feature in Call Block or revoke Accessibility access through Android settings at any time.
Call rejection availability depends on your Android device, operating system, and supported calling apps.
