Ita been 2 weeks, the bug of not being able to open the main menu to access passwords isn't fixed or replied to, I love this browser, but I can't depend on it for important functions anymore. I even emailed support personally saying I can't get to my tax login passwords. I have to change to another browser for important services like that unfortunately :(. It was a good but short experience. I hope it can come back.

I'm uninstalling Opera after near 15 years because for reasons that are likely ad revenue-related, an obnoxiously loud and unsolicited ad spools up as soon as I start typing anything in the search bar, and turning on the ad blocker does nothing to remove it. A shame, as I've enjoyed using this browser for some time now, however, this is unacceptable, blatantly intrusive, and disruptive. Might consider a return if this is remedied.

been using it for months and loved it. loved the VPN, adblocker, tracker blocker, loved everything. then a few days ago I started getting ads like a normal web browser would, pop ups and banners, mini videos, and full screen ads. couldn't fix it, so I sent a bug report. now I can't get a single webpage to load past 3/4. I restarted my phone, checked WiFi and 5g, and eventually ended up trying un/reinstall method. it worked for about 2 sites worth of browsing and we're back to the same problem.
