About this app

ORTIM a6 for Android™ was specifically developed for use as time study software on Android tablets. The application is intuitive to use, and the button layout is designed to meet the needs of our users. They have direct access to all measurement functions, enabling them to react quickly to events.

This user interface allows our customers to focus entirely on evaluating the observed activity. If they need to start studies without preparation, the integrated on-screen keyboard is available.

Outside of measurement tasks, the device can be used as a tablet with Android functionality. The system requirement for this is Android version 5.0 (API21) or higher.

ORTIM a6 for Android™ can be adapted to any type of time study and any evaluation rule. Up to 99 clocks allow for all types of time studies in multi-station work: users can record cyclical and non-cyclical processes simultaneously. They can use selection criteria to tag measured values, for example, to record batches and evaluate them separately. Planned time codes (PCOs) and the recording of influencing factors later enable them to generate planned time formulas from their time studies. Text can also be recorded for each measurement.
