This is a great roguelite platform shooter. Everything about this game is high quality. The art, the characters, the music, the story, the world design, etc. Unlike games such as Dead Cells, there are a plethora of unlockables that have a direct impact on gameplay immediately. This is both a blessing and a curse because this also made the game trivial to beat after I had gotten really powered up. One power up shoots out energy when you get hit, which killed the third and forth boss too easily.

I like it a lot! I wish I could customize the control layout, because when I'm really getting into it, I keep missing the buttons. EDIT: I FOUND IT I love the upgrades, especially more mid-air jumps! those paired with dashes let me fight without touching the ground! I also wish there was a way to start in the second world. at this point, the first world is too easy and I fly through it quickly.

The gameplay loops ends once you beat the game and the game is pretty quick to beat in 4 or so runs. The reason for this is that you get permanent level ups that increase stats and the enemies don't scale at all so you end up blowing through the early zones without any resistance whatsoever. All that is left is getting the achievements and those are just plain grindy without being fun whatsoever.
