This is a great roguelite platform shooter. Everything about this game is high quality. The art, the characters, the music, the story, the world design, etc. Unlike games such as Dead Cells, there are a plethora of unlockables that have a direct impact on gameplay immediately. This is both a blessing and a curse because this also made the game trivial to beat after I had gotten really powered up. One power up shoots out energy when you get hit, which killed the third and forth boss too easily.

Actually had an incredible time with this game. I loved the interactions and little peeks into the characters such as the robot messages and Samantha's comment about her medical kit. The game play, as with most roguelites, has repetitive elements yeah but it's quite a lot of fun! I did play with a controller so be warned that it may be more difficult without :) Got to the credits in 8 hours and thought it was a great game :D

There was a controller quirk that rendered the game unplayable for me. Pressing B/circle on the pause menu unpauses every other game, but in this it exits the game. This caused me to lose progress. I'd also consider adding an option to require the jump button to drop down a platform. (You got both of these things right in the Dwarf game.)
