When this app works (free version), it's seems pretty great. However, it consistently crashes by reverting to a black screen when I try to exit a session or audio sound. The sound or audio continue to play. To stop the app I have to uninstall it. But, I like it well enough, that I reinstall it to continue. Update 7-16-2025 The app has been working better and doesn't crash too much. Worth using for tinnitus sound and relief if it works with your phone.

The app feels great, actually. Interface is great and exercises are great. But it is expensive! 320 euros for a year. Paid 80 for 3 months upfront. I won't be able to afford it past those months. I would be okay with a price between 10-15 euros a month. I know it is hard to maintain the cost-effectiveness, but this app is not really a luxury, it is a very much needed thing for every tinnitus sufferer. And l hope the price goes down, the more people sign up because l love it!

Hey, thank you for your review. We completely understand and we’d love to make it cheaper if we could, but this is what we have to charge to cover the costs of the app. Most users need Oto for around 4 months - so that makes the yearly option much better value. Feel free contact us at hello@joinoto.com and we could work something out for you. :)

So Not Helpful. Maybe this is fine for people with low level Tinnitus but for severe to catastrophic, not so much. I'm sure the app makers will just say "oh he's just still in an angry state about his stage of Tinnitus," which is yes, I am, but I don't need to imagine my Tinnitus as well a ball and watch it bounce away. I don't need to imagine what color t-shirt I want to put on. I need real mechanisms to deal with this, and this is not it. The app is also super confusing to find lessons.
