I almost never leave 1 star review because they are usually a sign of pissy customers but i am writing one here because this product i spent money on actually does not work. I bought a strap on armpit thermometer from the drug store, and thought what am idea! I thought it would be like owlet. The app is difficult to navigate, instructions are in broken english at best, it requires a horrifying array of security permissions and pairing the device crashes the app. Who programmed this trash?

If you're reading this, you're probably on this page reading this review because you've just bought a thermometer from walgreens that requires this app to read the sensor. Put the thermometer back in the box, turn around, and go get your money back. Neither the thermometer nor this app actually work, at all. Plus, this app has no documentation on how to get it to READ the thermometer, and it asks for a bunch of permissions that it 100% doesn't need. Garbage app.

How do I get this thing to actually take her temperature?! After looking at this closely, I am concerned about the permissions requested. Almost none of them seem necessary for what this app is supposed to do. I deleted it because it doesn't work and requires too many permissions. You don't need access to my photos or my location or my ad card content to tell me my child's temperature. Definitely a security issue with this app.
