A great resource but there are some bugs Even after pausing an audiobook the application comes back online and start reading the book unexpectedly. It even happens you actually close out of the entire application which is a bit unnerving when you're in a meeting. The only other comment did I would render is there should be the possibility of removing and item from your library after you've completed reading it. Right now the book stays inure profile until the expiration date. I don't know whether this causes another individual from checking it out
Needs Option to Download to External Storage The app has been getting better and better. It was much improved when support for Chromecast was added. The biggest issue I have currently is the inability to download because Hoopla downloads to system storage of which there is little left on my phone. Please add the ability to target where the borrowed content is stored - a prompt when downloading begins would be great. Thanks!
80% perfect... It would be 100% if 2 things were fixed.. 1. Slide Controls with 30 sec back, rwnd, ffwd, speed were LARGER!!!! 2. If the same controls were moved higher up on the screen to avoid hitting Android Soft Keys (Back, Home, Recent Apps.) It could crash a bit less too but it reconnect quickly so no biggie...
Good concept could use some work I used to subscribe to audible and then my library let me know about this. Overall a good app but there are some issues. For one on my phone it kills my battery so quickly. When i go to the app it always pops up something about kids mode even though I've dismissed it. My book starts all over many times when i go back to it. Generally it is good and I love the convenience but usability could be better
Good when it worked. Broken at moment. I still can't read my borrowed titles. When I click Read or Resume it says something went wrong and closes the title. Ive tried deleting and reloading them. This has been ongoing since second to last update. Please fix this since I've had items return that I didn't even read :'(
Decent app, but I prefer using Overdrive, which has much better controls for audiobooks. Pros: Free, I can get a lot of media each month, don't have to wait on copies of things coming available. It is functional and has decent selection. Suggestions/cons: I would love a preview clip so I can tell if the narrator is annoying before I commit to borrowing. Navigating through the audiobook is difficult--a +30 seconds button would be awesome. Downloading an audiobook triggers a single download, which can be quite large for longer books. Splitting it into smaller files is more convenient and takes up less space on my device. The content selection is a bit strange, but maybe that's just my library. There are a lot of cliffnote versions when I want the actual book, or series missing the first book.
Sometimes, the app was crashing while tapping into a title or reading a comic. Did you want to see that? We thought so, so we fixed it.
