I don't take the time to review apps often, only if one is particularly bad or good and this one falls on the good side of the spectrum. Overdrive makes it really easy to browse and check out library books even if you're busy or on the go. Highly recommend. If you have any trouble syncing books across devices make sure you have logged in the same way on both devices (overdrive account vs library card info)
Navigation is a nightmare. Can't find any particular page when I need it. Like how do you find the hold you placed a week ago and got an email saying it is now available? How can you renew a check out after it's expired without losing your place? Or 2 forces you to delete it and re - download. I've run across screens I couldn't ever find again. But for the simple, base case where you listen straight through it's great. Good sound quality and love that you can listen off line and it remembers where you left off and backs up a few seconds when you resume.
What's the point of having an option to save your card on the device when it doesn't save them? Three different libraries had their numbers deleted. App is very user unfriendly and wastes more time trying to load "suggestions" that aren't even in the genre I check out rather than letting me get to searching for books I actually want.
What happened? This used to be a great application and now it won't even sign in to anything. I'm not sure if the development team is all off working on the (every bit as useless) lobby app or what.
Liked it... When I had someone to explain to me how to use it. Unfortunately, I got it when I was still learning how to use my 1st tablet, so haven't really had a chance to use it the way I'd like to. So it kinda fell by the wayside, & now my tablet is getting full of Miscellaneous Data that I don't know how to get rid of. I'm thinking about deleting this app?
Always loved the library! Now its on my phone. My only concern is that there's no renew feature. You have to recheck out a book if you haven't finished it. Other than that, its Great!
