About this app

The Phones4Work Assistant allows users to place calls using their voice. If you are in need of an app to allow you to place hands free phone calls, then this is your app.

This app is simple by design and its primary purpose is to allow users to make phone calls without touching their device by using compatible wired or wireless headsets. However, there are many other uses as well such as checking your flight status, getting dictionary definitions, converting currency and units, calculating tips, mortgage calculator, creating lists such as shopping lists and more, all done with your voice.

In order for hands free calling to work, your contacts will need to be synced. This will happen automatically the first time you open the app.. Anytime a contact is added or modified you will need to re-sync contacts by pressing the refresh button.

To use the assistant, launch it the way you would any other assistant on your device or by pressing the device assistant button on your headset then simply say "Call (your contact name)" and the assistant will call the contact. If there is more than one number assigned to a contact, the assistant will display a list. Simply say "Call the first one" to call the first number in the list, "Call the second one" to call the second number in the list etc.

You can cancel an action by simply speaking "Cancel" and exit the app by simply speaking "Exit"

Works good for me as a hands-free dialer. Would be great if we could add a talk-to-text keyboard feature, so that I can farther de-Google my phone.
