I was really excited to have the first AAC app that feels like I can actually use it without being slowed down or bombarded with loud ads while trying to communicate, and I can understand app development isn't always easy or cheap, but 12.99 a month just to go back to not painstakingly trying to type out everything when I can hardly even process words? Yeah, no thanks. That's a bit ridiculous.

This is great! I had oral surgery and it's hard to understand me when I talk. I have to repeat myself several times, talk louder and I'm often still not understood, especially with people hard of hearing. I looked for an app to help and most of them are for narration of books and other prewritten pieces. This app helps me be heard! I love the variety of voices to choose from.

Spoken is a really easy to use AAC app. I like the voice options, aesthetic of the app, and almost everything else. The only issue I really have is its inability to be used offline. Whenever I go offline, the voice is immediately changed and it's much more difficult to use. Theres a possibility an "offline feature" is on premium mode, but I feel it shouldn't be. I use AAC apps offline usually, so none of them having offline access makes it much harder.
