About this app

Pomodoro timer for focus, study, and task management. Grow a virtual tomato plant with every completed session. Track your productivity with a calendar, strict mode to block distractions, and relaxing background sounds. No account needed.

Plantask helps you with focus timer, study timer, productivity app, task manager, distraction blocker, time management, and ADHD focus needs.

I built Plantask because I kept getting distracted.

Like you, probably. I'd start a Pomodoro timer, then five minutes later I was scrolling Instagram. My tomato plant idea came from frustration: what if my focus grew into something real?

So here's how it works:

You set a task. You start the timer. Every minute you stay focused, your seed gets water. Complete the task? Your plant sprouts a new leaf. Finish your whole day's work? You get a ripe tomato.

It's silly. But it works.

What you get:

🍅 Pomodoro timer – 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 or 90 minutes. Or whatever works for you.

🌱 A plant that grows – Start from a seed. Earn points for every completed task. Watch your tomato plant grow day by day.

🚫 Strict mode – Blocks social media. Not permanently. Just enough to stop the thumb from scrolling. You can still answer calls. Your plant just... pauses.

📅 Task calendar – Set goals by day or deadline. "Finish report before Friday." The plant rewards you.

🎧 Background sounds – Lo-fi beats. Rain. Forest. Coffee shop noise. Helps me concentrate. Maybe helps you too.

⏰ Gentle reminders – No spam. Just a nudge.

No account. No signup. No tracking.

Everything stays on your phone. Your tasks, your plant, your progress – it's yours. Not mine. Not Google's.

Ads exist (sorry). They pay the bills. But they're not intrusive.

Who is this for?

Students who need to study without checking TikTok every 10 minutes.

Remote workers who "take a quick break" and return an hour later.

Anyone who tried Pomodoro before but got bored.

People who like growing things but kill real plants (me).

Does it work?

Not magic. You still have to do the work. But seeing your plant grow? That little dopamine hit helps. I've used it for 3 months. My tomato plant is enormous. My productivity is better. Not perfect. Better.

Try it. Worst case – you waste 5 minutes. Best case – you finally finish that thing you've been avoiding.
