Nosh is owned by local restaurants and its mission is to support independent restaurants, provide second-to-none customer service, and keep the local economy strong.

Nosh is owned and operated by local restaurant owners who came together to offer an alternative to large food delivery companies that dominate the market. At Nosh, we strive to:


MAKE DELIVERY AFFORDABLE AND SUSTAINABLE

Food delivery is very expensive for restaurants. Margins in the restaurant industry are thin, and the commission rates national delivery companies charge is much higher than most independents' profit margins. In places like New York city, third-party food delivery has put many small restaurants out of business. We love our restaurants, and we want them to thrive so they can continue to offer great food and service to our community. For that reason, we keep commission rates charged to restaurants as low as possible. These savings are then passed back on to you, the customer.


FOCUS ON CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

At Nosh, we know that even when we strive to give customers the best possible delivery experience, mistakes will eventually be made. For us, it's all about making it right, and if we make a mistake, bending backwards to then make it right. We respect our customers, and as restaurant owners, we want them to be as satisfied with delivery as they are when they come into one of our restaurants.

I was an active user of the old Nosh app, despite it's shortcomings compared to some of the bigger delivery apps. I always want to support a more local company. Unfortunately the new app is unusable, literally. Trying to add a payment method crashes the app every time. I've checked in many times since the new app released and there has apparently been no update. :(

The app crashes if you try to update your payment methods, sometimes it crashes when you're looking at food to order, sometimes it just stalls after you've submitted an order and just doesn't order the food. Doesn't work well at all

The UX is much improved from the previous app, but this one crashes when trying to add a new card to my account either through the order flow, or from the account settings. when I try to pay via Google pay, it gets stuck processing endlessly. Pixel 9 Android 16
