PanelCut works out how to get all your parts out of full sheets — plywood, MDF, melamine, worktop — using as few panels as possible, and shows you exactly where to cut.

Type in the pieces your project needs and the stock sizes you can buy or already own. PanelCut lays them out sheet by sheet and gives you a diagram drawn to scale plus a numbered cut list.

CUTS A REAL SAW CAN MAKE
Every cut runs edge to edge, the way a table saw or panel saw actually works. The cut list is generated from the layout itself, so it never asks you to saw through a part you already placed.

BLADE KERF IS PART OF THE MATH
Set the width your blade removes and it is subtracted from every cut. The plan you get is the plan that fits, not one that comes up short by a saw blade on the last piece.

GRAIN DIRECTION RESPECTED
Lock grain on the parts that need it and those pieces are never rotated. Everything else can turn 90° to save material — or you can switch rotation off entirely.

INCHES WITH REAL FRACTIONS, OR MILLIMETRES
Work in 1/16" fractions with a fraction pad — type 24, tap 3/16, done. Or switch the project to millimetres. Sizes are stored exactly as you entered them.

SHARE THE PLAN
Send the diagram and cut list as a single image to whoever is doing the cutting. No account needed on either end.

MADE FOR THE WORKSHOP
No sign-up, no login, no cloud. Projects live on your phone and open with no connection at all — basement shop, lumberyard, job site. Unlimited parts, unlimited sheets, unlimited saved projects, and no daily limit on how many times you can run the optimizer.

The app is supported by ads. There are none while you are entering parts or reading the cutting diagram.
