BrightHR support team worked with me to fix the problem below and two business days later released an update to fix it. Thanks! Old problem: When selecting a receipt to attach it does not let me choose any option other than take a photo. Nothing happens when I tap on the other options. The app does not request permissions to access files on the device, which may be what is making the other two options (choose from gallery and upload PDF) fail to work.

Overall the application works really well for logging and approving expenses. It's easy to use, intuitive and has actions that automate much of the expense tracking workflow. Where it fails me is stability. On average once a month the application stops loading any of the expense pages, and results in a spinning wheel of doom. The only action that restores functionality is a removal of the app and reinstall. Phone reboot, force app closure etc return the same spinning wheel.

Very easy to use, excellent engagement from the company and user-requested features are added quickly. It is great to work with a company that wants feedback, responds quickly and updates its apps as a result. Any improvements / issues are resolved quickly and effectively. Cannot fault it and would definitely recommend.
