No map If you're in a new town and forgot where you parked, there's no map with the zones they've created anywhere so you're sol. Seems so basic to just include a map or address in the receipt with the meter you paid at.
can I give 0 starts? the only thing this app has to do is pay my parking meter. the one thing this app cannot do: pay my parking meter. since it cannot do the one thing it needs to do, it is a 30mb deadweight that harvests your credit card information.
It seems to functionally (mostly) work, but is clearly a bad port from iOS. Where's the Android design? It also forgets I'm logged in frequently. Fingerprint log in would be great.
Convenient but confusing I love being able to pay for parking through my phone, especially being able to add more time without running back to my car. I was super confused about how to use it at first though because there is no explanation for what 'zone' means. Also, I have no idea what the 'Find' feature does, but it certainly doesn't indicate any parking spots on the map. I wish there was some instructions somewhere! The FAQ in my version of the app only has ONE question. I know I've had a lot more than one question.
Cannot add CC on file The app just stops when I try to add funds. Odd.
This is an excellent service, that is let down by a poorly designed app. For an app where the main selling-point is convenience, the process of reserving a parking spot is made unnecessarily inconvenient. Firstly, I find I have to re-enter my email address and password every time I use the app. Obviously this is totally unnecessary and most other Android apps do not require this. Then I have to select my parking zone, was was initially confusing until I realized that they just want you to add the zone number to the initial three letters representing your city (like "AUS2"). Then I had to select my car, even though the app is only aware of one car, and similarly I had to select my payment method even though the app is only aware of one. All of these are unnecessary hurdles when you're just trying to park and get out of your car as quickly as you can - so instead of taking 10 seconds as it should, it can take several minutes, especially if your email address or password is long. These problems should all be relatively easy to fix, I hope they do-so in the near future in which case I will give a higher rating.
