Pasha Dollar shows today's US dollar exchange rate in Iraqi dinars (USD to IQD) on the parallel market, province by province, with the minute each number was observed, Baghdad time.
Buy and sell rates, in dinars per 100 dollars. Baghdad, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah come from exchange-market channels and groups as they publish. Basra, Najaf, Karbala and Mosul follow Baghdad, and Kirkuk and Duhok follow Erbil, at a set margin. Erbil, Sulaymaniyah and Duhok also show 25,000- and 5,000-dinar note rates. Unlisted districts usually sit 100 to 400 dinars from the Baghdad or Erbil rate.

You see whether a rate is from this minute or the last close. After the close, prices freeze at the last real quote and are marked closed.

• Gold price in Iraq: the ounce in dollars, and 21 and 24 karat by mithqal and gram in dinars, worked out from the world ounce at the Baghdad dollar rate. Other karats are computed by purity.
