Ratings and reviews

When it's working properly, the app gets the job done. Minus 1.5 stars for not letting you pay in exact amounts & forcing you to leave money spent but unused at the end of a transaction (instead of just paying directly, you have to purchase digital gift cards & use those, but also can't use those gift cards for tips??). Minus another 1.5 stars because there is ALWAYS a 50/50 chance that when you try to use it, you'll have been logged out and unable to log in and access your rewards.

I love earning extra points by using the app (it's a sometimes thing) but find that more often than not there are issues with adding money to my card. It's frustrating, inconvenient, and embarrassing to be in the store and owe $3, but I cannot add money to my account because "something went wrong." So now I'm holding up the line while I fish for my credit card (the same one that is linked to the app) or cash. I wish that would be fixed in the next update.

Unfortunately, the app has gone from unintuitive to useless. My most recent purchase didn't get counted, not a big deal, but now when I try to place my usual order (we order beans using this app for the office about once a month), I get network errors and can't add a card for payment. I've tried using different networks (two different wifi, one 5g) and three different payment options. I drink peet's all day every day, so I'll find a workaround, but would love it if you'd fix the app already.
