Penmark Sudoku: Killer & Daily is a calm sudoku played with a pencil. Fill the 9 x 9 grid with digits, or pencil in notes while you are still deciding. Every puzzle can be solved by logic, without guessing, and every puzzle has exactly one answer.
Classic puzzles come in six grades, from Easy to Extreme. Killer puzzles add sum cages: the digits in a cage must add up to the total shown in its corner, and no digit repeats inside a cage. The Combinations sheet lists the ways a cage can add up.
Hints name the technique and point to the cells involved, for example: "Hidden single in row 4: only one cell can hold 7." A hint shows the pattern first. You choose whether to apply it.

- Optional help: highlight the same digit, mark conflicts, and a limit of three mistakes (off by default).

- Statistics for each mode and grade, plus your best time and stars for every puzzle.
- Paper, Slate and High contrast themes. The Puzzle Book adds four more paper themes.
- Puzzles in progress are saved after every move, so you can close the game and carry on later.
- A short tutorial, and a Help page that explains every technique in plain words.
The puzzles play offline. Ads and purchases need an internet connection.
Free to play with more than 4,000 puzzles. After you leave a finished puzzle, a full-screen ad can appear now and then. You can also watch an optional video for an extra hint, or for a second chance after the mistake limit. Remove Ads turns off the full-screen ads. The Puzzle Book adds 1,200 more puzzles and four themes, and it changes no rule, score or difficulty.
