VialMath turns three numbers you already have into the reading on your syringe.
Enter the amount in the vial, the water you added and the dose your prescriber gave you. VialMath shows how many units to draw, the volume in mL, the concentration, and how many doses the vial holds, with a picture of the syringe filled to the line.
WHAT IT DOES
• Units to draw on U-100 syringes (1 mL, 0.5 mL and 0.3 mL), U-40, and tuberculin syringes
• Dose in mcg or mg, volume in mL, concentration in mcg per mL, doses per vial
• Flags a dose that is the whole vial or more (a likely mcg / mg mix-up), a draw bigger than the syringe holds, and a draw too small to measure well
• Share a calculation as text
• Save calculations: name them, reopen them later with every number filled in, and keep a dated list
WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
• It never suggests, adjusts or recommends a dose. You enter the dose; VialMath does the arithmetic.
• No compound list, no dose charts, no presets.
• No account, no ads, no tracking. Your calculations stay on your phone.
PRICING
The calculator is free, with no limits. Saving calculations is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
IMPORTANT
VialMath is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It is a calculator: it does arithmetic on the numbers you enter and does not give medical advice. Check every result, and ask your physician or pharmacist about your medication, dose or treatment.
