About this app

Using the PESI Mobile app, one can:

• Download any on-demand content to watch offline wherever, whenever.
• Participate in a live webcast, webinar, or digital seminar.
• Access, view, and download handout materials.
• Perform evaluations.
• And obtain certificates of completion.

It's simple to watch an on-demand seminar or participate in a live webcast from your mobile device. Your screen will display the presentation, and your headphones or speakers will play the audio. Boarding an aircraft or traveling without access to the internet? No problem. You can watch courses that are available for download through the app, even if you are not online. Course completion information is automatically transmitted and available in customers' accounts once the mobile device connects back to the internet.

Without ever leaving the app, you can also read handout materials, take tests and quizzes, and get certificates of completion.

I like PESI, but the app doesn't work well. I tried to download the lectures, but it never finished downloading, and then I can't cancel to try again. Has made the app basically unusable. * Edit to say that their support team told me that downloading isn't allowed anymore. why not just remove the feature rather than have people struggling. Also, this now means I can't watch on planes or when out of reception, which is very disappointing

I love the content, I hate the app. It becomes nearly unusable when playing audio only. Why does this not integrate with Androids media controls to play, pause, rewind, etc.? Even with battery optimization turned off the app frequently turns off when played in the background. I listen to the majority of content while driving or doing other tasks. Most of the time I'm forced to download content from my desktop and play it with VLC player on my mobile device so I can speed up content.

I've been trying to use this app successfully for years and am finally going to leave a review. As others pointed out, downloads are lost(?) deleted(?) after a period of time leading to having to redownload them again - this defeats the purpose of offline-use. Sometimes my progress is saved and sometimes it isn't (likely related to downloading vs streaming but IDK for sure) so sometimes I have to scan around to find where I was, roughly. It feels like the app is almost never updated, IDK iftrue.
