HOW VEO WORKS
Step 1: Find the closest e-scooter, bike, or e-bike.
Step 2: Scan to unlock! Scan the QR code (or enter the scooter's or bike’s ID number) to unlock it. Enjoy your ride!
Step 3: Park in a designated parking zone (shown in the app) when done. To finish your ride and stop the fare, just tap the "End Ride" button in the app or push down the lever on the bike lock. We do the rest!

Ratings and reviews

The app is glitchy and poorly made. On the screen where you're supposed to add feedback about your ride, the text box is covered by keyboard on Android devices. It's been this way for at least a year and they haven't fixed it. The bikes themselves rarely work, normally I have to go through several bikes under to find a working one that unlocks properly. I often have to turn off my internet and restart my phone for the app to work.

I tried about 25 scooters over the course of 6 months before one finally unlocked. Then when I finished my ride, I couldn't get it to lock up. I reported it, but after fighting with the chat bot for five minutes it just went back to the app and the meter was still running. No thought was put into it. It's a trash app, it looks like it was written for a high school project. It's super buggy. When I reported the issue, the keyboard covered up the text box so I couldn't see what I writing. Garbage.

If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. The scooter itself is much better than those from Spin that were on my campus last year. Fast acceleration, good speed, fairly easy to maneuver. The app was a little buggy at first (yet to see how it performs in the long run) - almost missed class because it wouldn't scan and I had to walk. But the customer service was really very good. Phone help available, quick to respond, fixed my issue. A downer start to the experience turned out to be pretty great!
