Ratings and reviews

This is photo ransomware and cancellation annoyance. I forgot I had an account 11 years ago. Got an email telling me the account was deactivated. When I went to check on the account contents, the site reported it was a single photo, unviewable without paying for a membership. After clicking four "are you sure you want to delete" prompts, the 7 day trial offer errored out. So I paid $5 to save one picture and went through 8 more prompts to cancel the subscription and delete account.

Wanted to recover my old account. Went through the process. They were not able to recover my original account with all of my photos because they deleted it in 2014. They found a different account that was connected to me. I didn't know what was on the account until I created a new password and had to pay for the service. Turns out has three pictures I own physical copies of. I can't figure out how to stop payments. What a waste of time. All of my photos pre 2009 are gone and I'm disappointed.

Photobucket is nowhere near the nice product it once was. This current update? Just more proof of a poorly executed product. Upon startup, you’re greeted with the sign-up or login screen. Click login. Attempt to log in, it jumps right back to the sign up/login page. Sometimes immediately, sometimes a few seconds later. Not only am I being extorted to access my data, but not even able to use the app to access it. Junk!
