About this app

Pic-A-Talk is an augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) mobile application for non-verbal kids who have speech ang language disorders, like children with autism, speech apraxia, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and more.

It consists of images of words, organized by categories for easy location. Parents can add or remove words as necessary to cater to their child's needs and interests. You can choose from uploading real images from your gallery or search for a cartoon icon on our app.

Seems like a well-made AAC for very *very* young kids. I hope it has a setting to turn off the "page number 1—page number 2" voice when you're flipping through quickly, though. Aug 6 2025 bug: I can't log in through Google or create an account, so I have no idea if or how the card creation and organization works.

Didn't even get to use it! Registered with my email & everything, and went to log in. Continuously said I had "invalid credentials." I tried similar ways of typing my password with keys that I may have hit on accident, and nothing worked. :(

Great app!! My kids love and learn from it. 🥰 Although my youngest has trouble with the 'next page' button, so i think it would be more convenient for kids if they *scroll down* instead of viewing by page.
