StatusPing is a status saver. It shows the WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business statuses (photos and videos) on your phone, counts down the hours each one has left before the 24 hours run out, and saves the ones you choose to your own gallery folder, where they do not expire. If you turn it on, it also keeps a list of your WhatsApp messages on your phone, so a message that is later deleted can stay readable. It cannot catch every deleted message; see the limits below.
HOW TO USE
1. Grant read access to one folder WhatsApp already wrote. Nothing is downloaded from the internet; the files are already on your phone, and StatusPing saves statuses you have already viewed in WhatsApp.
2. View current statuses with the hours-left countdown.
3. Save one or many to your library. Turn on auto-save to keep new ones.
4. Share or repost saved statuses from the app.

DELETED MESSAGES
Turn on notification access (optional, off by default) and StatusPing keeps a list of your WhatsApp messages on your phone. If one is deleted in WhatsApp, it stays in the list, and you can search it. We mark the ones we can tell were deleted. Limits, stated plainly:
• Forward only, from when you turn it on. Nothing from before can be recovered.
• Sender and text, plus received photos, videos and voice notes when StatusPing can still reach them. No reactions, no edits.
• If your phone silenced the notification, there was nothing to capture.
You choose which apps it covers, including WhatsApp Business. The archive is kept 30 days by default, adjustable. Delete it all in one tap, or export it first.

StatusPing checks continuously while it is running. Phones stop background apps to save battery, so a new status can show up late or be missed; Setup tells you when your phone has stopped it.

Three kinds of network request: the ad banner, Firebase crash reports and anonymous usage counts; none carries your photos, videos, messages or number. No storage-wide permission, only the folder you pick.
