I have been on trail forks for years and have always loved it. Very recently the app was updated and now it's awful. It is was slower to load up and it is now constantly crashing. It is extremely aggravating trying to navigate in the woods with an app that is slow and crashing everytime.

So, I've read a few reviews and experienced myself how jumpy the app is, how you can't re-align the map when it gets twisted, and when clicking on a trail, it no longer showed the elevation change graph (whatever that's called). I deleted and reinstalled the app and it seems to have corrected these. It's still a bit slow, but not as bad.

This app has become my go to app for mountain biking, but it's very clunky in some ways. In general, the app has a good selection of trails, but trail availability for ebikes is rarely accurate. Some user contributed data I wish just wasn't there because it's untrustworthy (like trail direction). The biggest annoyance is with the UI. The settings are an absolute disaster and some settings can't be accessed from the app. It also quit syncing with Strava despite trying to relink the accounts.
