Used to work but occasionally fail to upload, ask for login, and then lose the data from the ride after login. Latest update, now it just makes straight lines any time the screen isn't turned on. TOTALLY unacceptable for a PAID app. Edit: implemented all potential solutions in response, downloaded new update. Next ride it didn't record anything, not even a straight line. To be clear, this app used to at least produce a track I could screenshot every ride, before the android update.

Sorry you had recording issues, often it is a configuration on your phone or network But we have also totally rewritten the apps GPS tracking code and it will be released on Android in the next couple weeks.

Terrible app. Fairly extensive trail database, but horribly organized, unusable without paying, barely usable when you do pay. My GPS location NEVER worked. It works for every other mapping app, all of which I've used are considerably more powerful and competent. You can't even save a point in the pro version and I struggled to plot my own path, or see your elevation, etc. Extremely disapponted. Trail forks seems to have shot itself.

Most extensive trail database of trails from when the app was free. However the paywall destroyed the app. Not only you only have a small zone without paying you can't download the trails so when you are out there it blurs where you are which is extremely dangerous if you actually rely on the app for navigation. They should just have ads like other apps.

This blog post answers some of the criticism around the Pro option, data access & user contributed content You can still see the trails in grey for basic navigation and can unlock the map for emergency 3 times. Ability to download offline basemaps also rolling out next week.
