About this app

PinPal is a bowling scorekeeping application designed to provide bowlers with detailed statistics to help improve their average.

PinPal keeps track of leagues, tournaments, and open bowling, allowing bowlers to view their average, as well as many other statistics.

PinPal also lets you keep track of what ball you used for every frame, so you can see which balls you do better with.

PinPal puts tons of useful stats right at your fingertips. Ever wondered what spares you leave the most, and how often you are able to pick it up? Well now you can find out!

Scores can be entered either by selecting all the pins you knocked down or entering the scores you get for each ball. Also, if you don't want to take the time to enter each frame, you can just enter the final score for the game.

Any questions, comments, concerns, complaints, compliments, suggestions, or feedback of any other sort can be directed at PinPalAndroid@gmail.com

This is an OK app. If you want to track your pinfall for every frame, I'm sure it does the job. But what I am looking for is something that the now-defunct Bowling Scorekeeper could do. I want to be able to track, and have my league handicap calculated, on a weekly basis. I need to be able to input: Starting average (in my case, last year's average) Time until new average established (e.g. 6 games or 2 weeks) Score handicap is based on (e.g. 220) Percentage of handicap (e.g. 90%)

I have been using the app for awhile now. I have a couple things I would like to see. When I go to check my statistics I can't exclude leagues I'm no longer bowling. I would like a way to track my current statistics without having to add leagues I'm no longer bowling. The next thing is a long shot but I'll ask anyway. If you could add a note Section for each shot. I'm often times standing and targeting different parts of lanes on each lane. Or using a different ball on each. Thanks.

It's really interesting to get to see stats and scores but one thing keeps it from being 5 star: the ball selection menu. I know bowlers who will change balls mid-frame much less mid-game or even series (myself). There's no way to reflect this which makes counting stats against a ball almost useless to not be able to see I grab more spares using my spare ball over, for instance, just throwing my reactive with different technique. A great idea and a solid execution. Needs improvement.
