About this game

Pirates Outlaws is an indie roguelike card game in which you navigate dangerous seas and challenge their masters. Your expedition will be full of ambushes and will not be easy.

16 heroes available with unique abilities and pre-made decks. More than 700 cards and 200 relics to collect. Play your cards and manage your Ammo for the best combo. Defeat 150+ outlaws and 60＋ unique bosses in a turn-based combat system.

3 game modes can be enjoyed.

NAVIGATE
In Navigate mode you manage your expedition on varied horizons to discover and battle pirates and outlaws that stand on your path. You can unlock up to 7 maps and chapters with their own difficulty and secret.

Once repute reaches 9999, Hard Mode auto-unlock. Harsher environments and stronger enemies. Each chapter also has its unique challenge in Hard Mode.

ARENA
In the dust of the arena, you will face every 10 battles a powerful Champion. To reach the top, you must choose among the cards and relics from all 7 chapters. A place for all pirates in need of challenge.

TAVERN BRAWL
Test your strength and knowledge over a drink at the tavern. Choose pre-made packages before each battle and defeat the wave of pirates. After the 2 battles, defeat the imposing Tavern Keeper.

Great game. Simple but can be complex and challenging. A bit of a grind, but always nice to go back to the game once in a while and play for a bit. Only issue is the controls. Wish there are other ways to activate cards as dragging my finger the length of the phone can be annoying at times. Add to the fact that for some reason you can heal enemies, healing the enemy when u wanted to heal myself has already happened so many times. Also wish that some aspects of the game are explained more.

It has got the potential to be very good. I would strongly suggest that an option for not taking a card after a battle be added. Many of the cards/relics are only good if you have committed to a certain deck type, which is hard to do in a deck builder, even more so when you are sometimes forced to have taken multiple cards you dont want. If you insist on the grind that yiu have for progression, add levels of difficulty. This will make it more of a challange, and probably keep people playing more.

Don't let the stylized, low-poly art fool you -- this game has a lot of complexity. It succeeds in the, "just one more time!" addictiveness of roguelikes. There's tons of variability in cards, with status upgrades/degrades, melee and ranged attacks, and the ability to upgrade attack cards. You'll never play the same game twice! It's a fantastic value, given the price, especially considering the amount of playable characters and levels. Interesting, fun, and a great deckbuilder!
