About this game

We fused card games and roguelikes together to make the best single player deckbuilder we could. Craft a unique deck, encounter bizarre creatures, discover relics of immense power, and Slay the Spire!

Features
- Dynamic Deck Building: Choose your cards wisely! Discover hundreds of cards to add to your deck with each attempt at climbing the Spire. Select cards that work together to efficiently dispatch foes and reach the top.
- An Ever-changing Spire: Whenever you embark on a journey up the Spire, the layout differs each time. Choose a risky or safe path, face different enemies, choose different cards, discover different relics, and even fight different bosses!
- Powerful Relics to Discover: Powerful items known as relics can be found throughout the Spire. The effects of these relics can greatly enhance your deck through powerful interactions. But beware, obtaining a relic may cost you more than just gold.

When it works, it works well. Certainly room to improve the UI, especially when just trying to view cards in your hand since it tried to play them when you want to use a different card. But when it doesn't work, which is most of the time, it's awful. The game won't even boot up half the time. I have a brand new Google Pixel 6 Pro phone and no other apps give me trouble, but this one upon booting up will most of the time lock up my phone for a good minute then crash. It needs to be fixed. Period.

Fun game to play, subpar mobile port. I have been an avid player of this game for a long time and got the mobile version to play on the go. The problem is data syncing. It is unable to be turned off, and it quite frequently makes the saved run of your current game disappear. Very frustrating that you can't opt out of it and just save your game files locally.

It's really hard rating this two stars, easily one of my favorite games of all time on PC & console. But the mobile port issues CANNOT be overlooked. The UI isn't great I understand people's complaints here but IMO it's more than acceptable for a mobile port. The "data syncing" however is atrocious. If you don't finish a run in one full go, it's not saved when you exit and return later. Fails miserablely keeping track of your runs and stats and ascension mode progresses about half the time.
