Ratings and reviews

It was very complex to set up two juniors as players and two parents as, well, parents and sort out how subs were paid without two lots of payments. I'm told uts easier for club volunteers which is good. As parents of junior players its 10x more complicated. In a club with umpteen teams, until you eventually work out how to turn off all the irrelevant notifications its overwhelming. You are not asked which notifications you want when you set up the account, you have to work it out yourself.

Ok App But Could be much better....it needs the ability to chat between teams and not just at the club level. Also, to be able to delete od news etc at the club level rather than clog up the app with old or irrelevant news about other people or teams in your club. I wish we'd carried on using a WhatsApp group than switching but if Pitchero had this missing functionality then my review would have been a 4 or 5.

As a parent of a child playing sport, I find Pitchero simpler, more informative and more reliable than another similar app used by her other sports team. I like that you can access it both via the app and on a desktop computer (some of us dinosaurs still use them); I like that I can see who else has been selected, how many reserves there are etc, and full address details of venues. Also that I can get a message to team managers quickly if we are running late. Simple needs, I s'pose. It is not faultless and I can't comment on the managers' view, but as a parent this app gives much less bother than the other one.
