Tracker provides some fun and useful information about my dog's day. Having to get hold of the dog to click the tracker in order to upload data is a minor inconvenience. That app on the phone is a little difficult to navigate to get to specific things such as yesterday's data, and I hope too see improvement in the future. Designers should look to the fitbit dashboard for inspiration. I have not yet experienced any ads at all in this app.

So this service doesn't offer GPS, so they don't charge a monthly fee to use it & focus on the actual amount of time your dog is exercising, which is exactly what I was looking for. It's confusing getting to the screen w/ all past days..I still don't know how to get there (just figure it out from clicking around) but my BIG issue is that the service is only geared towards people in the UK, like you can't sign up for the prizes and other perks they offer, which is why only 3 stars unfortunately

Thank you for your feedback. When you first open the app you are automatically shown our new SUMMARY tab which gives you information about your dog's best day and their average day. You can see your dog's data for each day by clicking on the ACTIVITY tab. If you see the current day, then tap on "Back" at the top of the screen on the left.Best woofs

Initial experience was that the App would not connect to new 'pitpat'. After a week of support & a replacement pitpat we realised 'GPS/Location' needs to be 'on' for app to connect due to recently changed Android requirements. App sometimes fails to connect and I found it needs to be restarted once bluetooth/gps is enabled to connect (if not already on). Based on this, a fun app but I've found some rough edges, hedge the 3* review

Ross - It's Simon here, Director of Product at PitPat. You shouldn't be having the experience you report, and I'd like to put it right. Your phone is definitely supported, and you should not be receiving faulty hardware. Please contact us again on help@pitpatpet.com, and let our support hounds work out what's going wrong here.
