About this game

PIXEL RUSH — A fresh take on tower defense where the targets are pixel-art
characters and your weapons are cards you drag onto conveyor belts.

★ HOW IT PLAYS

Each level is a colorful pixel-art creature: a robot bristling with laser
eyes, a roaring kaiju, a fierce dragon. The screen is divided into three
zones — left, bottom, and right — each with its own conveyor belt. You
draw cards from a queue. Each card has a color (matching pixels on the
target) and a type: shooters fire single bullets, bombers throw area-of-
effect explosives.

Drag a card onto a belt. A unit rolls along, finds pixels matching its
color in that zone, and starts firing. When a unit runs out of ammo it
falls off — drag another card to keep the pressure up.

★ FIGHT BACK

The targets are not passive. The robot's eyes charge up red, then fire
lasers down a conveyor — any unit on that lane is vaporized. Watch the
charge animation and re-route your cards in time. Knock out the eyes and
the lasers stop forever. Each boss has its own behaviors: scanning heads,
rising arms, breath attacks.

★ TACTICAL DEPTH

- Energy economy: every card costs energy. Energy regenerates over time
and refills when you destroy pixels. Spend wisely on the right colors
for the right zones.

- Card refresh: stuck with three cards of the wrong color? Pay 3 energy
to reroll all three slots.

- Bombers vs shooters: shooters are cheap and steady. Bombers cost more
but each shot destroys up to 12 pixels in a cluster. Pick your moments.

- Color distribution: cards are weighted by what's on the target, but
every queue is guaranteed to contain rare colors — no more being
stuck without yellow when you need to kill the eyes.

★ FEATURES

- A growing roster of pixel-art bosses, each with unique animations
and attack patterns
- Procedural ambient soundtrack — chord progression that loops without
feeling repetitive
- Satisfying juice: screen shake, particle explosions, victory
fireworks between levels
- Sound on/off toggle, audio gracefully respects your phone's mute
- Built mobile-first: portrait orientation, single-thumb controls,
works on phones from 5" up

★ NO ADS, NO PAYWALLS

Pixel Rush is the whole game, free. No interstitials between levels,
no "watch an ad to refresh cards," no energy meters that stop you
playing. We respect your time.

★ FROM THE DEVELOPER

This started as a personal project to explore "what if tower defense
controls met pixel-art aesthetics." Each level is hand-designed so
the silhouette reads clearly even when half the pixels are gone.
Animations like the robot's head scan or the kaiju's tail wave aren't
just decoration — they shift pixels between sectors, so your units
have to adapt as the target moves.

If you enjoy short tactical puzzles, like Mini Metro or Slay the Spire,
or if you just want a colorful 90-second break, give Pixel Rush a try.
